The chassis has wheels (6) between the permanent magnets (5) mounted on the vehicle and the longitudinal stator extending along the track, their axes rigidly attached to a magnetic rail (4). The wheels run along the underside of an upper running surface (2), each associated with a load lever (8) which is vertically pivoted about the wheel axis at one end. An elastic element (9) is attached to each load lever between its ends, the other end of the elastic element attached to the magnetic rail. An auxiliary wheel (7) is attached to each load lever between its ends and runs along a lower running surface (3). ADVANTAGE - Maintains constant air-gap for linear train drive.
