The motor shaft (18) is located in the motor housing (12) only at its end facing away from the pump. It is aligned at the pump side end by the pump shaft. The pump shaft (36) and the motor shaft (18) are fitted one inside the other. The pump shaft and the motor shaft are coupled shape locked with each other in the direction of rotation. The connection of the pump shaft and the motor shaft is designed as an easy clearance fit pref. a slide fit. ADVANTAGE - Simple construction produced cost effectively. Alignment faults causing efficiency loss are substantially prevented.
