The invention relates to a pressure measurement transducer with a pressure sensor fitted at the base of a pot-like pressure supply unit. Alongside the low-pressure side of the pressure sensor in a casing of the measurement transducer there is an electronic circuit connected to the pressure sensor via electric connecting lines. In order to protect such a pressure measurement transducer against damage in the event of the pressure overload on the pressure sensor with concomitant mechanical collapse, to the low-pressure side of the pressure sensor (18) is secured one end (28) of a pipe (29), the other end of which passes in the direction of the housing (1) with an electronic circuit (3). The pot-like recess (16) in the pressure supply body (12) is potted in resin (39) within the pipe (29) and the electric connecting line (25).
