HOT AND BOILING WATER HEATER

A water heater as disclosed which comprises a main chamber (12) and an auxiliary chamber (13). The main chamber (12) is filled with water from a cold water mains pressure supply pipe system (14, 15, 16) which enters the bottom of the main chamber. A boiling water outlet pipe (19) at the top of the main chamber (12) supplies boiling water to an associated boiling water display tap with the outlet pipe (19) passing through the auxiliary chamber (13) and having an aperture (20) through which draws steam from the auxiliary chamber (13) which steam is vented from the boiling water dispensing tap via a venting conduit (22) in communication with the auxiliary chamber (13). A helically configured heating conduit (21) is positioned within the main chamber (12) and is supplied with cold water from the mains through a conduit (24) and the water is heated by virtue of heat exchange from the water in the main chamber (12) before being supplied to a hot water tap via an outlet pipe (25).
