<p>A method for detecting motile organisms, particularly zoospores of Phytophthora cinnamomi in a sample comprises contacting the sample with a solid support in a medium in which the organisms are motile, the solid support being, or being treated with, a chemotactic and/or electrotactic attractant for the organisms, and subsequently detecting organisms attracted to the solid support by immunoassay.</p> |
