Before the actual loading process roller tracks are set up on the goods vehicle to allow continuous loading. Once loading is complete the roller tracks are lowered and removed from underneath the load. The roller tracks are built up from segments comprising transport rollers, casters and lift mechanisms. The unit can be converted for pallets of different sizes. A chain conveyor (1) and drive station (16) can be used to move the pallets onto the roller tracks. The pallets can be tensioned and moved between two toothed belts. The pallet in the vehicle can be moved along by the incoming pallet. USE/ADVANTAGE - Easier loading of europallets without the need for fixed guide rails or rolling tracks inside the vehicle.
