PURPOSE:To obtain dielectric ceramic composition having low sintering temperature, very fine particle diameter, specific dielectric constant, high insulation resistance, low dielectric loss and high reliability and a manufacturing method thereof. CONSTITUTION:A dielectric ceramic composition in which A/B and C in a composition formula represented by PbA ((Mg1/3Nb2/3)1-CTiC)bO3 satisfy conditions like 0.950<=A/B<=1.020, 0.00<=c<=0.15 is manufactured by using Nb2O5 having purity of more than 99.0% as Nb component, fine particle average diameter less than 2.0 micro meter, BET value more than 5.0m<2>/g and included in crystal system of hexagonal system or rhombic system. A dielectric ceramic composition mainly including Pb, Mg, Nb and Ti is manufactured by producing chemical compound having columbite construction of magnesium niobate family by temporally baking Mg and Nb components as being initial material and mixing again and sintering the above chemical compound and Pb and Ti oxides. |
