System for connecting two shells (1, 2) separating from the external environment, respectively, two apparatuses each including a contact element (3, 4), the contact elements (3, 4) being intended to interact with each other in the region of a connection zone (8) and projecting beyond an insulating wall (5, 6) completely or partly closing the associated shell (1, 2) so that the connection zone (8) lies between the insulating walls (5, 6) in a closed volume (7), one (6) of the insulating walls being subjected to the pressure of a fluid (15). A protective piece (22), having a length at least equal to the distance necessary for connecting or disconnecting, entirely, the contact elements (3, 4), and integral with one (2) of the shells, surrounds the connection zone (8) so that, during the connection or disconnection of the contact elements (3, 4), the volume (7) remains closed. <IMAGE> |
