Glass-filled polyamide or copolyamide on a base of amino acid lactames, where glass filler is worked into a polyamide matrix prepared by anionic polymerisation of the lactames above the intervals of fusion of the mixture of the polymer/monomer without the need to specially thermally stabilise this matrix.
