The invention relates to a process for optimising the nitrogen elimination in clarification processes, in which dirty water is fed to a denitrification (DN) and then, with addition of returned water from a sludge treatment, is fed to a nitrification stage (N) and, in a take-off point, a part-stream of the run-off water is fed to the denitrification stage, and the entire process is controlled via measurement of total organic carbon (TOC) and/or total nitrogen (TN) contents. In order, in such a process, to optimise the nitrogen elimination in a closed-loop control process of nitrification (N) and denitrification (DN), according to the invention it is proposed that both the TOC and TN contents be simultaneously and continuously measured at each of the measuring points (M1-M4). <IMAGE> |
