PURPOSE:To provide an internal combustion engine knock controller the control efficiency of which is prevented from deteriorating. CONSTITUTION:A knock controller is provided with a noise discriminating portion 5 which outputs a noise discriminating signal Vk when determining for each cylinder that a noise discriminating signal DELTAV from a knock discrimination means 42 is mistake caused by noise; a restriction means 6 for restricting for a predetermined period the reflection of the noise discriminating signal for the cylinder to which the noise discriminating signal is output; and a data storage means 6 in which the predetermined period is stored as a map data corresponding to the operating conditions and Re of the internal combustion engine. A spark retard reflecting process for reducing knock is normally performed for each cylinder according to the knock discriminating signal; when the knock discriminating signal is recognized as being a mistake caused by noise, reflection of ignition retard is restricted for the predetermined period to restrain unnecessary ignition retard control for each cylinder and the control means sets a predetermined period corresponding to an operating condition by referring to the map data.
