Sliding doors for garages are each suspended from a channel track 14 by a roller 12 or 13 at each end, and have their lower edges guided, either by short rails 18 in the centre of the door opening, or by short, E-sectioned tracks 30, which may be composed of channel and anglesectioned members, or as shown. In the case where tracks are provided, the door may have a hardwood runner 34. The doors are held in the closed position by spring clips 25 secured to the jambs. The guide means may also comprise wheels or rollers spaced apart from each other on each side of the centre of the opening and engaging tracks in the bottoms of the doors.</p> |
