PURPOSE:To improve the strength characteristics of a graphite material exhibiting anisotropic properties in thermal conductivity and in electric conductivity. CONSTITUTION:The anisotropic carbon-carbon composite material is formed by laminating plural tape-like graphite films having electrically and thermally different anisotropic properties, respectively. Specifically, it is produced by coating the tape-like graphite films having the electrically and thermally different anisotropic properties, respectively, with an organic binder, laminating the formed prepregs to each other, compressing and subsequently thermally carbonizing or graphitizing the binder in an inert atmosphere. |
