PURPOSE: To efficiently and selectively kill the neoplastic cells of the tumor, etc., by infecting the neoplastic cells with the reformed viruses which may be reproduced by the neoplastic cells but may not be reproduced by normal cells. CONSTITUTION: The neoplastic cells are selectively killed by infecting the neoplastic cells with the reformed viruses, such as mutation viruses, contg. the mutation thymidine kinase gene which may be reproduced in the neoplastic cells, such as tumor cells of a nervous system but may not be reproduced with the normal cells. |
