MEASURING APPARATUS FOR MUSCLAR ACTIVITY OF LIVING BODY

PURPOSE:To facilitate the measurement of musclar activity by detecting myoelectricity obtained in contact with a living body to be inspected and measur ing and storing a duration time at which the level of an envelop determined from a waveform amplified exceeds a reference level. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of contact electrode pairs 4A-4n are applied on muscule to be measured and detection outputs thereof are amplified with amplifiers 4A-4n to be recorded with a recorder 2 while inputted into an envelope former 6 to form an envelope line. A reference level signal of a reference level setting device 10 is inputted into comparators 8A-8C which are supplied with the resulting envelope signals to output square waves. The duration time of the square waves increases as something is chewed or chewed and squeezed by a force higher than the set level. Hence, the outline of muscular activity can be presumed by comparison of the duration time outputted from the respective comparators. Output square waves of the comparators are supplied to AND circuits 12A-C and a clock signal from a clock circuit 14 is generated at outputs of the AND circuits and measured with pulse counters 18A-C.
