PURPOSE:To improve backlash regulating workability for a gear as support rigidity of the front differential gear of a four-wheel drive vehicle. CONSTITUTION:A flange part 16 for coupling is integrally molded in a position situated more inside than the mounting position of a bolt 9 positioned closer to the central part of the outer wall surface of a cover 6. Ribs 18A, 18B, and 18C for reinforcement are molded at a boundary part between the flange 16 and the cover 6. At the side wall of an oil pan 4, the two portion, approximately vertically separated away from each other, of the flange part 16 are integrally molded to the respective two portions, approximately vertically separated away from each other, of a mounting boss 19 fastened by means of respective bolts 17. A rib 20A for reinforcement and a rib 20B for reinforcement, through which the outer peripheral surfaces of the adjoining mounting bosses 19 are interconnected, are molded at a boundary part between the side wall of the oil pan 4 and the mounting boss 19. A distance between the adjoining mounting bosses 19 is set to a value enough to allow insertion of a tool for mounting and demounting the bolt 9. A cut part 20a in which the tool for insertion is insertable is arranged to the tip part of the rib 20B for reinforcement.
