PURPOSE:To promote the solidification of poured molten metal and to improve the forming cycle by constituting a part corresponding to a cavity and a sprue part and a part corresponding to a gate part with specific materials, respectively. CONSTITUTION:An insert 2A at movable side and an insert 2B at fixed side are formed with heat resistant copper alloy having high heat conductivity, and in the part corresponding to the gate part 6, gate members 16A, 16B formed with a metal of SKD61, etc., having relatively low heat conductivity are inserted. By this method, the cooling of the molten metal filled into the cavity and the sprue part is promoted, but the solidification caused by rapid cooling of the molten metal in the gate part can be prevented. Therefore, the time from the molten metal pouring to the solidification is shortened without developing any trouble of bad pouring, etc. |
