SHRINK-RESISTANT ANIMAL FUR FIBER AND ITS PRODUCTION

PURPOSE:To provide the subject animal fur fiber exhibiting wash-fast shrink- resistant properties in combination with softness. CONSTITUTION:One of this conventions is a shrink-resistant animal fur fiber in which the inside part is filled with a polymer of a monomer or/and a prepolymer having a polymerizable double bond. Another inventional is a method for producing the animal fur fiber by applying a radiation irradiation treatment after applying the monomer or/and prepolymer to the fur fiber.
