PURPOSE:To provide a chap-preventing agent having strong antioxidation action, effective in suppressing hyaluronidase activity to stabilize hyaluronic acid, preventing chapped skin and wrinkle, keeping the springiness of the skin and improving the luster of the skin when used as a component of a cosmetic. CONSTITUTION:A chap-preventing agent containing a solvent extract of AIGYOKUSHI (fruit of Ficus awkeotsuang). Although water or an hydrophilic organic solvent can be used as the extraction solvent, water and/or ethanol are preferable because the extract is used as a cosmetic raw material. Cosmetics having various forms can be prepared by adding other cosmetic raw materials such as liquid oil, solid oil, activator, humectant and medicine to the extract. |
