PURPOSE:To apply a device to road surfaces of largely different road surface components including low frequency roads to high frequency roads. CONSTITUTION:A detection signal DDX of an acceleration sensor 2 and a detection signal Y of a car height sensor 4 are read by an ECU 9, and a springing speed DX and a springing-unspringing relative speed DY are calculated. An actuator signal indication value based on the DX, DY is determined by an actuator signal indication value calculation part inside the ECU 9. In which zone in a zone map in a DX-DY plane it belongs is determined, and a changeable throttle valve 114 is controlled to a value set to give a middle damping force close to an origin of the DX-DY plane to regulate the damping force properly. In a damping force-changeable shock absorber control device, therefore, generation of sense of incongruity in control, actuator changing shock, or abnormal sound can be prevented. |
