PURPOSE:To inexpensively and safely capsulate a constituent raw material useful for producing refractory by coating raw material particles of refractory with a dispersion prepared by dispersing a coating agent into water. CONSTITUTION:Wax or a cured phenol resin having <=10mum, preferably submicron is used as a coating material forming an emulsion with water. A raw material substance for refractory in various shapes is usable as raw material particles of refractory. In order to emulsifying a coating agent into water, 100 pts.wt. water is mixed with 0.1-5 pts.wt. surfactant and 5-100 pts.wt. particles of the coating agent. Raw material particles 6 and the coating agent 7 dispersed into water are sprayed from a multi-nozzle 5 which has a spraying nozzle 2 of raw material particles at the central part, a spraying nozzle 3 of a dispersion of the coating agent at the outside and an air spraying nozzle 4 at the outermost side are sprayed in an atmosphere kept at >=50 deg.C in a spraying and coating device 1. Water is evaporated by in the middle of falling and a coating film of the coating agent is formed in the circumference of raw material particles and the raw material particles are capsulated. |
