METAL-MOLD MOUNTING APPARATUS OF TIRE VULCANIZER

PURPOSE:To automate a series of operations such as the conveyance of a metal mold into the center of a tire vulcanizer and the positioning and fixing of the metal mold. CONSTITUTION:Top and bottom forces 7 are aligned in a metal mold assembly 21. The metal mold assembly 21 is inserted and attached into a bottom-force attaching body 6 of a tire vulcanizer 1. This is a metal-mold mounting apparatus of the tire vulcanizer. A metal-mold moving and mounting means 54 holds the metal-mold assembly in the horizontal attitude and outputs and inputs the metal-mold assembly in the horizontal direction. A centering means 29 determines the position of the metal-mold assembly 21 with respect to the bottom-force attaching body 6. A lifting means 27 freely lifts and lowers the metal-mold assembly 21, which is mounted on the bottom-force attaching body 6 with respect to the bottom force attaching body 6. A clamping means 26 attaches the bottom force 7 in the metal mold assembly 21, which is positioned at the bottom force attaching body 6 and mounted on the bottom-force attaching body 6 through the lifting means 27 to the bottom-force attaching body 6 so that the engagement and removal are freely performed.
