PURPOSE:To obtain an ink which hardly clogs an orifice, gives a high print density on plain paper, and forms a high-quality image by compounding two specific dyes and a solvent into the ink. CONSTITUTION:The objective ink contains a first dye selected between C.I. Direct Blue 199 and C. I. Acid Blue 9, a second dye selected between C.I. Acid Red 52 and a compd. of the formula (wherein Y is H, methyl, methoxy, acetylamino, or nitro, or Y forms a benzene ring with the carbon atom at the 3-position of the benzene ring B; X is acetyl, benzoyl, p-toluenesulfonyl, or 4-chloro-6-hydroxy-1,3,5-triazin-2-yl; and M<1>, M<2>, and M<3> are each an alkali metal or ammonium), and a solvent to dissolve or disperse the dyes in it. |
