A method for inspecting the deterioration of a battery and its residual capacity, and the apparatus therefor. In the method, a load (2) is connected with a battery (1) to be inspected, and the current corresponding to its capacity is made to flow through it. Then, by monitoring the change of the terminal voltage (V) of the battery (1) for a predetermined time, judged is the deterioration of the battery (1) according to the change. From the terminal voltage (V) of the battery (1), judged is the residual capacity of the battery (1). Further, the results of the judgement thereof are displayed on a displaying means. Thereby, the deterioration of the battery and its residual capacity can be grasped easily and surely, and they can be confirmed with the display immediately. |
