PURPOSE:To achive a strong binding action using an inexpensive binding device by forming a flat plate into a substantially conical shape having an opening on its top so that the binding device formed into a conical shape is fixed as it is by an engaging means. CONSTITUTION:A binding device 1 is prepared by forming a flat plate of synthetic resin into approximately an egg shape as a whole having elasticity. When a neck of a bag is bound using this device 1, the constricted neck of the bag is inserted into a slit 3 to put it into a star-shaped opening 2, following which an engaging piece 5b is engaged diagonally with an engaging piece 5a so as to be put thereon to close the opening 2 completely. And an engaging notch 6 of the piece 5b is coupled to an engaging notch 6 of the piece 5a to lock the piece 5b to the rear side of the piece 5a, so that the piece 5a is engaged with the front side on the side of a body of the device 1 near the piece 5b. The binding device of this kind is useful for binding the neck of a bag of synthetic resin storing therein a processed food or agricultural product. |
