PURPOSE:To obtain the subject composition providing a rotary molded article having excellent packing especially at a corner part of a mold and internal smoothness, comprising a straight-chain polyethylene and a specific amount of a 3-methyl-1-butene-containing ethylene copolymer. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition comprises (A) a straight-chain polyethylene, a copolymer of ethylene and a 3-12C alpha-olefin and (B) a 3-methyl-1-butene- containing ethylene copolymer (content of 3-methyl-1-butene is 0.0001-1wt.%) obtained by catalytically polymerizing ethylene, 3-methyl-1-butene and optionally a 3-12C alpha-olefin in the presence of a catalyst composed of (i) a solid titanium catalytic component comprising a halogen-containing magnesium, a halogen- containing titanium and an electron donative compound as essential components, (ii) an organic aluminum and (iii) an organosilicon compound of the formula (R<1> is branched-chain hydrocarbon; R<2> and R<3> are hydrocarbon; (n) is in 2<=n<=3). |
