PURPOSE:To obtain a method in which collapse of shield tunnel at an upper part of working face, obstacle on the working face, over-abrasion of cutter bit, and the like can be recognized in early stage and countermeasure can be taken therefor. CONSTITUTION:TV cameras 21, 23 and a flexible tube 25 are inserted into a cutter slit 13 from the shield 3 side and then the TV cameras 21, 23 are directed toward a collapsed part B of shield tunnel A at an upper part of working face 33 thus imaging the collapsed part B. The collapsed part thus imaged is displaced on a monitor TV built in an undergroud equipment or a control board thus allowing visual confirmation of the collapsed part B, which can not be confirmed directly with naked eye, for an operator. |
