PURPOSE:To provide a small electric motor-operated car which can be forced to perform shift operation of a gear type speed change gear in an excellent state freed from gear noise by separately providing the gear type speed change gear to relieve a load on an electric motor. CONSTITUTION:A small electric motor-operated car is formed such that a shift lever 28 to perform shift operation of a gear speed change gear is disposed on one side in the same lateral direction as that of a grip 30 for operating an accelerator to perform shift operation of an electric motor 3 for driving running.
