PURPOSE:To obtain an air core coil excellent in heat resistance and thermal deformation resistance which can withstand high temperature during reflow soldering step. CONSTITUTION:In a step for winding a self-fusible enamel wire (hereinafter, referred to a wire) 3, having a fusible layer formed by applying an adhesive paint composed of a thermoplastic resin admixed with an ultraviolet ray curable resin and then baking the paint, around a coil bobbin 2, hot air is blown through a nozzle 4 to the wire 3 under winding thus softening and fusing the fusible layer of the wire 3 under winding and the wire 3 wound around the coil bobbin 2. At the same time, the softened wire 3 and the wire 3 adjacent thereto are irradiated, across the overall width of the coil bobbin 2, with ultraviolet ray generated from an ultraviolet ray generator 5 and guided through an optical fiber bundle 6 through an ultraviolet ray irradiation head 7 thus bonding the wires 3 each other. |
