PURPOSE:To provide a camera capable of automatically and adequately performing focusing and exposure adjustment even when a film for a region out of visible light is used. CONSTITUTION:The camera is provided with a lens position adjusting means 8 adjusting a position in the optical axis direction of a photographing optical system in accordance with a distance to an object, an exposure adjusting means 9 adjusting exposure to a film surface in accordance with a value decided by object brightness information and film sensitivity, an information reading means 3 reading information concerning at least the sensitivity and spectral sensitivity characteristic of the film, and a controlling means 1 controlling the means 8 and/or the means 9 in accordance with the region out of the visible light when the distribution of the spectral sensitivity of the film includes the region out of the visible light. |
