PURPOSE:To simplify a program and reduce the cost by totalizing sales data on each registered article by sales control items by a totalizer on the basis of detailed information records of respective registered articles. CONSTITUTION:The article detailed information records 61 stored in a record storage part 6 are read out in the registration order and the totalizer 7 totalizes the sales data on the articles by the sales control items by referring to a control information table on the basis of the records 61. After all the article detailed information records 61 stored in the record storage part 6 are processed, a total detailed information record 62 is read out and the totalizer 7 totalizes total data on dealings by the sales control items by referring to a 2nd control information table on the basis of the record 62. Then all the stored records are sent to a file processor 2 on an in-line basis under the control of a communication interface; and then the record storage part 6 is cleared and a return to the start of this processing is made. |
