PURPOSE:To shorten the measuring time by exciting an induction motor with a single-phase alternating current using an inverter, computing and measuring the resultant resistance and resultant leakage inductance based on the magnitude of the alternating current voltage command, effective current and reactive current. CONSTITUTION:An induction motor 5 is excited in a single phase by correcting an error in the output voltage due to the dead time and ON-state voltage drop in power elements using an inverter 4. Then the effective current Iq and the current reactive Id are computed from the phase theta in the exciting voltage vector and detected instantaneous current iu. The resultant resistance (r1+r2) of the primary and secondary and the resultant leakage inductance (I1+I2) of the primary and secondary are measured from the exciting voltage command value Vc1, the effective current Iq and reactive current Id without an inverter output voltage sensor. This shorten the time it takes to measure the resultant resistance (r1+r2) and resultant leakage inductance (I1+I2). |
