PURPOSE:To prevent breakdown of an element for current control when a blower fan fails and stops. CONSTITUTION:An inverter circuit 21 for supplying a motor current to a motor 22 is provided, and the inverter circuit 21 is provided with a fan for cooling an element for current control and also with a fan failure judging means 23a for judging a failure of the fan. An output torque command value computing means 15 computes an output torque command value from a vehicle speed and the opening of an accelerator which are detected. Receiving a failure judgement signal from the fan failure judging means 23a, an output torque limiting means 24 corrects the output torque command value. Accordingly, it is possible to prevent breakdown of the element for current control and to prolong the lifetime of the inverter circuit 21. |
