PURPOSE:To provide the optical waveguide device having a polarized light separating function to allow the propagation and emission of light in multiple directions and to make the device compact, the process for production simple and optical integrated circuit utilizing this device compact. CONSTITUTION:The optical waveguide device having a double modewaveguide 12, two waveguides 13, 15, etc., branched therefrom, etc., and having the polarized light separating function is provided with a light reflection mirror 20 having the end face of the waveguide layer as a reflection surface and the waveguide 13 for propagating the light signal reflected by this light reflection mirror 20 in the waveguide where the separated light signal is propagated. |
