摘要 PURPOSE:To generate a musical sound having desired harmonic overtone structure by changing the sign of the multiplication coefficient of a multiplier, and synthesizing a musical sound including an overtone of odd order and also synthesizing a musical sound including a harmonic overtone of add order. CONSTITUTION:A parameter conversion part 202 outputs a multiplication coefficient gamma, a cutoff frequency information fCB, and selectivity information QB corresponding to a timbre code TC to a synthesis part 100. A parameter conversion part 203 outputs delay specification information L, determining the fundamental frequency F of a musical sound to be generated, to the synthesis part 100 on the basis of a combination of a key code KC and the timbre TC. When the delay specification information L is constant, the value of the multiplication coefficient theta varies from a plus value to a minus value by properly setting QB and fCB and the musical sound outputted by the synthesis part 100 has transition from nearly odd harmonic-overtone structure to nearly natural number harmonic-overtone structure. Consequently, specific delay specification information L is outputted by a parameter conversion part 203 so as to prevent a pitch from being one octave higher.
