PURPOSE:To increase the capacitance of an element by subjecting SrTiO3 to primary baking after a semiconduction agent is added to the SrTiO3 and the SrTiO3 is calcined, crushed, and molded to a prescribed shape and to secondary baking after the baked product is dipped in a nitric acid solution in which a dispersing agent is dissolved, and then, applying and baking conductive paste. CONSTITUTION:In this method, an element is manufactured in such a way that a molded body of SrTiO3 having a prescribed shape is obtained by adding a semiconduction agent to SrTiO3 and calcining and crushing the SrTiO3 and the molded body is subjected to primary baking in a reducing atmosphere at 1,500-1,560 deg.C. Then conductive paste is applied to the baked product by dipping the baked product in a nitric acid solution in which a dispersing agent is dissolved and the paste is baked. The SrTiO3 powder is expressed by SrxTiO3 (where, x represents 0.995-0.000) and the adding amount of Nb2O5 added as the semiconduction agent is set at 0.05-1.0mol% against 100mol% SrxTiO3. Therefore, a voltage-dependent nonlinear resistor element having a capacitance of >=200nF, no electric characteristic fluctuation, and large noise absorptivity can be manufactured. |
