PURPOSE:To shorten the wait time required until copying operation can take place after the fixation part in service was changed. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of heat roller are furnished being equipped with heater lamps, and therewith a fixation part for monochromic copying and another for full-color copying are formed. The heater lamps are given the order of priority, and in conformity thereto a temp. control device performs one by one the temp. control of each heater lamp for changing over the current fed thereto. The temp. control device compares (Step 24) the judgement value with the max. rated power (1000w) if the surface temp. of heat roller is lower than the control temp. (no at Step 21) and the heater lamp is off at present (no at Step 22), wherein the judgement value is prepared by adding the watt number B of the heater lamp under control to the sum A of the watt numbers of other heater lamps which are being fed with current at present, and only when the A+B is below 1000 (no at Step 25), the applicable heater lamp is put on. |
