PURPOSE:To obtain a short wavelength light source of high efficiency wherein longitudinal mode spectrum is single, in a semiconductor laser pumped solid laser equipment. CONSTITUTION:The light radiated from a semiconductor laser 101 is collected on laser medium 104 composed of YVO of 0.5mm in thikness whose Nd concentration is 3%, by a a collimate lens 102 and a focusing lens 103. A resonator is formed between the laser medium 104 and an output mirror 107 having a carvature. A wavelength converting device 108 which is inserted in the resonator and constituted of KTP performs wavelength conversion, and harmonic light is outputted from an output mirror 107. Hence a short wavelength light source of high efficiency and of single longitudinal mode can be obtained. |
