PURPOSE:To produce a high-precision color filter at a low cost and with high throughput by transferring a substance electrodeposited on the conductive surface of a substrate to a coating layer to obtain a corrosion-resistant material. CONSTITUTION:A coloring material in which a red pigment is dispersed is applied on a black-matrix substrate 12 having a black matrix 14 on a transparent substrate 13, heat-treated and cured to form a coating layer 7R contg. the red pigment. An adhesive or tacky coating film 9 is then formed on the coating layer 7R, a substrate 2 coated with an electrodeposition substance 6 for a red pattern is brought into contact with the coating film 9 to transfer the substance 6 to a specified position on the coating film 9. The coating film 9 and coating layer 7R are etched off with the substance 6 transferred on the coating film 9 as a corrosion-resistant material, and the substance 6 is then released to form a red pattern 16R. Similarly, a green pattern and a blue pattern are formed. |
