<p>PURPOSE:To provide the tape running device of a recording/reproducing device capable of continuously and constantly controlling the value of tape tension corresponded to the whole running modes and the tape winding amount, with an appropriating value. CONSTITUTION:A rotary guide 27 is formed with a plastic material, etc., so that the outer surface is made smooth, then a guide roller 35 arranging the brake member 38 which is formed with a soft magnetic material and provided with the brake surface on the inner peripheral part, and a flange part 34 formed with a metal are integrally supported pivotally by a shaft 31. A brake mechanism 32 applying a specified resistance to the rotary guide 27 is provided with a buffer member 42 approaching/separating against the brake surface 38a of brake member 38 while being inserted through the shaft 31, a pressing member 40 formed with the soft magnetic material pressing this buffer member 42, and a coil 41 wound around the outer periphery of the pressing member 40. When a current is made to flow in this coil 41, a magnetic attraction force is generated between the brake member 38 and the pressing member 40, then the resistance of rotary guide is controlled.</p> |
