PURPOSE:To obtain a highly sensitive sensor apparatus for measuring the density of a gas in oil which enables the detection of the density of the gas in an oil accurately. CONSTITUTION:A sensor apparatus for measuring the density of a gas in oil is provided with a light source section A which transmits a measuring light comprising a base light with a wavelength thereof corresponding to an absorption wavelength of a gas to be measured overlapped with a modulation light obtained by modulating the base light with a frequency (f), a measuring cell section B which is connected to the light source section A through an optical fiber 4a and has a gas chamber 5a and an oil chamber 5b arranged with a gas/liquid separation film 5c as interface area to let the measuring light pass through the gas chamber 5a. A signal measuring section C is connected to the measuring cell section B through an optical fiber 4b and the light transmitted through the gas chamber 5a is received with a photodetector 9. An output signal of the detector are detected as (f) signal and 2f signal while an amplitude value of the 2f signal is measured with the signal measuring section C or a ratio is computed between the amplitude value of the 2f signal and the amplitude value of the (f) signal. Moreover, an oil absorbance measuring section B incorporating optical fibers 6a and 6b is mounted on the measuring cell section B and can detect the presence of bubbles in the oil. |
