PURPOSE:To provide an image farming member which is free from risk of idle rotation between a sensitive member and a supporting member mounted thereon even through exposure is made to a temp. around -50 deg.C. CONSTITUTION:The fit part 21 of a supporting member 2 is fitted by strong pressure on the end of a cylindrical conductive base 11 of a sensitive member 1, and an image forming member is produced. Therein the formula (1) (b)-(a)>=0.0008a+0.007.6 (1) must be met, where (a) is inner diameter of the fit part of the base end while (b) is the outer diameter of the fit part 21 of the supporting member, and also the formula (c)>=0.04a+1.88 is to be met, where (c) is the length of the fit part 21. It is further desirable of meeting the conditions that the outer surface roughness of the fit part 21 according to Rmax is over 0.8mum and that the inner surface roughness of the fit part of the base end exceeds 6mum according to Rmax. |
