PURPOSE:To perform desired sharpness processing without being conscious of resolution. CONSTITUTION:An operator sets resolution (r) and sharpness coefficient K at a stripping device 14 by using a data setting part 32. A sharpness coefficient correction part 34 calculates a corrected sharpness coefficient K' by reading a correction coefficient (c) corresponding to the resolution (r) from a correction memory 36. Based on the corrected sharpness coefficient K', a USM processing part 30 performs sharpness processing to image data. |
