<p>PURPOSE:To improve fluidity, caking resistance and electrostatic chargeability and to suppress the occurrence of black spotty image defects by incorporating fine particles of an inorg. compd. surface-treated with an amphoteric surfactant. CONSTITUTION:Fine particles of an inorg. compd. surface-treated with an amphoteric surfactant are added to toner particles to obtain the objective dry toner for developing an electrostatic charge image. The inorg. compd. may be selected among SiO2, TiO2, Al2O3, CuO, ZnO, SnO2, CeO2, Fe2O3, MgO, BaO, CaO, K2O, Na2O, ZrO2, CaO.SiO2, K2O.(TiO2)n, Al2O3.2SiO2, CaCO3, MgCO3, BaSO4 and MgSO4, but silica is preferably used as the inorg. compd.</p> |
