PURPOSE:To enable sure attaching and detaching operations with simple constitution and high reliability. CONSTITUTION:A second connector 13 is disposed in the state of regulating the movement in a first connector direction via a coil spring 18 disposed coaxially within a housing 17 and a freely expandable and contractable regulating member 19 and into a floating structure by which the movement in the direction approximately orthogonal with the first connector direction is regulated with a prescribed clearance. The second connector 13 is easily and surely inserted into a second fitting part 11b of a coupling member 11 by the effect of such coil spring 18 and regulating member 19. Energizing force is imparted in the first connector direction by the coil spring 18 in the position where the insertion is completed, by which the second connector is brought into pressurized contact with the first connector 12 inserted into the first fitting part 11a of the coupling member 11 and the connectors are thus optically connected. |
