PURPOSE:To accurately input a position by providing a processor with a specific road movement processing part. CONSTITUTION:The processor 105 expands map information in a storage device 109 into a bit map and displays it on a display device 107. The road movement processing part of the processor 105 holds the direction of movement of a current position received by an input device 103. A range determining means finds plural movable points, in the unit of a bit, within a specific angle range in the movement direction. A judging means judges whether or not there is a road at the movable points at every the priority. When there is the road at the movable point, a movement direction determining means sends an indication to the display device 107 so as to moves and displays a position display pattern by setting the movable point where there is the road as the movement direction. When there is no road at the movable points, on the other hand, the movement direction determining means sends an indication to the display device 107 so as to move the position display pattern in the movement direction held in the holding means and display the pattern. |
