<p>PURPOSE: To provide a simplified automatic reset method for two mutually connected microcomputers. CONSTITUTION: For example, second one of two microcomputers periodically generates a prescribed number of strobe signals which have periods fixed respectively and demand data transmission. The other first microcomputer generates the already set number of shift clocks in accordance with respective strobe signals so that data transmission is performed the prescribed number of times within the holding time of strobe signals. The first microcomputer applies a reset signal to a reset circuit of the second microcomputer after a certain time without receiving strobe signals at all. The second microcomputer applies a reset signal to a reset circuit of the other after a certain time without receiving the already set number of shift clock pulses at all.</p> |
