<p>PURPOSE: To select a smallest hop number of times and a path having a shortest path length in a communication between a caller node and a reception destination node by providing a means that discriminates an optimum path for the device. CONSTITUTION: Each request for path discrimination includes following entry parameters, that is, a caller node, a reception destination node, a request band width and a maximum path or the like. The parameters are used to discriminate a minimum hop number path, that satisfies a maximum path length restriction and the path, is traced back to extract a list of a main link. When the reception destination node is reached, the minimum hop number path is traced back, and the list of the main link is generated. Based on the list of the main link, an optimum path from the caller node to the reception destination node is discriminated.</p> |
