PURPOSE:To prevent generation of crack and/or pattern break of solder when a plate terminal is mounted on a substrate by forming a projecting part protruding on the side opposite to the direction of bending leg parts in contact parts of the leg parts to a plate terminal body. CONSTITUTION:A reversed V shaped projecting part 1d having elasticity is formed at a connection part of leg parts 1b to a plate terminal body 1a in a plate terminal 1. When the leg parts 1b having this shape are inserted into through holes 2a formed in a substrate 2, a gap H is produced between the leg parts 1b and the substrate 2. When each of the leg parts 1b is soldered after being bent by nipping and pressing by means of a caulking jig in this condition, force F acts in the direction that the plate terminal 1 makes close contact with the substrate 2 by means of the elasticity of the projecting part 1d. Thus, the plate terminal 1 may not rise from the substrate 2 so that generation of cracks and pattern break in solder 3 can be prevented. |
