PURPOSE:To finely reproduce information and to obtain reproduced information of high reliability by forming information mark string in an information track on a recorded plane and recording information so that interval between centers of these marks indicates information. CONSTITUTION:A light from a laser 1 is converted to parallel beam flux of an approximately round shape by a collimator lens 3, a beam shaping prism 4, converged on a recorded plane of a magneto-optical disk 9 via a first polarized light beam splitter 5, a pickup lens 8, and an image is formed as a spot of diffraction limit. A part of a reflected light beam is made incident to the first polarized beam splitter 5 again via the pickup lens 8, 30% of P polarized light component and 100% of S polarized light component are reflected owing to this operation, and guided to a detecting optical system. And a part of a light beam divided by a beam splitter 10 is guided to a four dividing sensor 12 by a servo sensor lens 11. Thus, fine reproduced information is obtained by a simple processing circuit. |
